Fragment Tschaudor Turkmen knotted circa 1780 antique, collectors item, 77 x 80 cm, id: K-4089
The knots, the warp and the weft threads are hand spun lamb wool with goat hair. One edge is woven with 5cm kelim, the salvages are woven on two lines with two different colors wool in chess design, the black knots are oxidized, vegetable dyes, the background color is aubergine, considered as a fragment all the parts are taken from the original carpet, thick pile, allover geometric design, soft as an handkerchief and high standard quality, finely knotted.
