Size: 4ft 0in x 2ft 5in (121 x 74cm).
An excellent Tekke Turkmen chuval face of very fine weave and scarce design. The main field is filled with 30 aina guls of the chuval gul format; the elem has 30 guls of the diamond design. The main border is of the 'Flag' design or 'Tekbent' design as it is known to the Turkmen, this border is found on early Tekke weavings.
Excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
