Art Deco Chinese Oriental Rug 9’0” x 11’8” #7996 This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese Oriental Rug measures 9’0” x 11’8”. It has a hot ruby field with a three colored vase loaded with flowers at one end in the middle. There is a floral sprig in the lower right corner in the field. Halfway up at each side of the field are large floral and foliage displays coming out of the border in purple, lilac, shades of yellow and shades of green. The upper right corner has a big floral motif coming in from the border. The flowers are beautifully drawn. a three inch yellow gold colored border encompasses all. The major border is in teal green with floral representations. This rug is very nice and in excellent condition. The rug is full pile and has complete ends and sides.
