Antique Fereghan Sarouk 8’4” x 11’5” #8124 This last quarter 19th century Fereghan Sarouk measures 8’4” x 11’5”. It has a dark red floral motif field filled with a rose, green and blue center medallion. The green is beautifully eroded which is proof of age. The corners are worked in several shades of blue with dark green highlights. The major border is floral in rust, pale blue green and ivory on a dark blue ground surrounded by two pair of reciprocal floral borders. The rug is evenly low. This is an extraordinarily beautiful rug overall. If it was full pile you’d be looking at a $25,000 price tag. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $150.
