Dating to the 19th century, this excellent Central Asian embroidery has wonderful workmanship with an archaic design and gorgeous rustic colours. The field design that looks like a cross is actually bird (eagle) claw motifs. While one does see younger and more coarse examples in the market, a piece with such finesse is hard to find.
