This exquisite 19th-century Turkmen chuval rug is a work of art, carefully woven and withstood the test of time. The rich color palette and intricate patterns reveal the impressive beauty of this rug, each carefully selected and placed. Even though it is an antique piece, this rug still looks lively and energetic. The main color of the carpet is a dark tone, and detailed patterns are created in red, blue and white. Numerous rectangular shapes are decorated with intricate internal patterns. The edges of the carpet are decorated with complex patterns that complement the central pattern and where colors are used alternatively. Despite its age, colors are still vibrant and the textile appears to be in good condition.
