Lovely Suzani, Khujand, North-Tajikistan, 244 x 174 cm., mid 19th c. Silk embroidery on handspun cotton (6 panels) with all natural dyes (11), with cochineal being the dominant colour. Some smaller damages: all 4 corners and two other spots, but nothing serious.
