Back
s. w. Persian Khamseh Confederacy bag (half khorjin). Pile face is 23” x 28” (59 cm x 71 cm). , Glossy ,soft pile all over, except for a few fingertip-size spots where moths have nibbled off pile tufts (last photo). Colors all strong, natural, stable. Closure panels are intact with weft substitution design. Only two of the braided closure loops remain at top edge of back. One side seam is completely open—the other still has some multicolored herringbone-pattern overcasting. Insert a pillow form and close two sides to make a wonderful pillow/cushion.
