Ravishing is a word to use advisedly but this surely fits the bill. The all silk shahin ikat robe is lined with a part cotton abr / abrbandi ikat and a paisley type trade print firmly places it into the 19th cent. Usually all silk shahin robes are disregarded and little thought of and considered younger and brittle as they can be and what is typical of this kind of ikat fold mark damage on the arms has been re-enforced by careful descrete sewing. The robe is now sound and entirely supple and split free.
