Oversized! This circa 1910 Mandarin Chinese Oriental rug #6981 measures 11’0” x 14’6”. It has a wonderful yellow gold field with a medallion of a rockery with a flowering tree in purple, two shades of blue, black and red. The corners are worked in flowers sprigs of the same colors. The inner border in blue has fleur-de-lis in the corners. The main border in dark blue has a sparse design with flowers and leaves in the same colors. The rug is 99% mint condition. It has full thick lush pile. The buyer pays the freight of $200.
This rug is complete. The ends and sides are intact. It is too large to fit in the photo frame.
