Size: 2ft 2in x 10in (65 x 25cm). Antique Tekke Turkmen 'kap' or mafrash, small storage bag face. Circa 1850. An outstanding example of a Tekke kap, with the three panel tree design. The face is of very fine weave, one of the finest Turkmen weavings that i have ever handled.
