This is an exceptionally rare felt horse saddle cover, made by the Yumut tribe of Central Asia around 1880 or before. Its is made using all-natural felt wool in multiple colors. The back is original leather with leather tassels. Certainly a one of a kind piece made as a ceremonial piece for a chief or Khan of the tribe. Its an excellent condition for the age.
