This delightful antique tribal rug is decorated with an overall design of chickens (Morghi design) and various geometric motifs set on a deep indigo field framed by multiple borders creating a beautifully balanced design. The Khamseh tribal confederacy is known for its fine pile weavings. An outstanding and very fine example of its type, a collector’s rug with exceptional beauty.
