This is an original handwoven Malatya rug, approximately 80–90 years old, dating back to the 1930s–1940s. Crafted entirely from wool on wool, using traditional Anatolian weaving techniques. Natural plant-based dyes were used, giving the rug its rich and beautifully aged colors. It features authentic geometric and botanical motifs that reflect the deep-rooted cultural heritage of Anatolian craftsmanship. Despite its age, the rug is in very good condition, with no major damage or repairs — making it both a decorative and collectible piece.
