Ensi are considered to be traditional ceremonial door hangings for the entrance to the tribal yurt. They make excellent small floor rugs. A very good Yomut Turkmen ensi (Yurt door hanging). This example has a soft brownish red colour and two beautifully drawn elem (base) panels. The upper elem is of large stylised trees and the lower panel is trees on a abrashed indigo blue ground that really glows.
