This antique Oushak rug, woven circa 1900 in Western Anatolia, showcases the region’s signature large-scale, open design with striking color contrasts. The ivory ground is adorned with an allover floral lattice rendered in warm tones of burnt orange and saffron, framed by a bold terracotta border with stylized palmettes and rosettes. The oversized scale of the motifs lends a sense of grandeur, while the softened natural dyes and gentle wear create a warm, timeworn elegance. Its generous size makes it ideal for a living room, dining area, or gallery space where a statement piece is desired.
