This exceptional antique Oushak rug, woven circa 1900, is a magnificent example of large-scale Anatolian weaving. Measuring over 13 × 16 feet, it features a grand central medallion design flanked by smaller pendants, all set within an expansive open field in soft earth tones. The muted palette of taupe, sand, and faded rose is gracefully accented with ivory and pale apricot, giving the rug a refined and versatile aesthetic. Its wide, intricately detailed borders are filled with stylized floral and geometric motifs that showcase the artistry of Oushak weavers. The combination of large scale, balanced design, and gentle patina makes this rug a statement piece for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
