This elegant Lezgi long rug was handwoven by the Lezgi people in the northeastern Caucasus around the 1870s. It beautifully reflects the characteristic style of the period, with its rich color palette, bold geometric patterns, and striking star motifs. The eight-pointed stars featured throughout the rug are a distinctive element of Lezgi weaving, symbolizing cosmic order and protective power. The deep reds, blues, greens, and navy tones were all dyed using natural vegetable dyes, and over time, they have developed a beautiful, authentic patina. With its long and narrow format, this rug is ideal for hallways, entrances, or transitional spaces, adding both character and historical depth to any interior. Its finely knotted structure and well-preserved condition make it a valuable collectible piece as well as a decorative treasure. Size : 110 x 340 cm
