Ningxia seating square featuring the age old Yin and Yang symbol as its central motif set on an interconnected lattice of swastikas with an outer border of precious jewels. Made circa 1800 / early 1800’s, it has cotton warp and weft, all natural dyes with still strong colours in a glossy wool pile and the size is 69cm x 68cm (approximately 27in a 27in). There is wear commensurate with age with low pile in parts but overall it is good condition with no repairs or reweaves.
