A masterpiece from the 18th century...
This rare "Reyhanlı Kilim" is a living witness to Anatolian weaving history. Known as the "Thousand and One Nights" (Binbir Gece) pattern, each panel tells a different story, like a window into the nomadic soul of the Reyhanlı Turkmen tribes.
Hand-spun wool, dyed with natural madder and indigo nearly 300 years ago, still glows with an incredible authentic patina. The "Güllü Reyhanlı" (Rose of Reyhanlı) motifs symbolize fertility and life, woven on narrow looms in two separate parts and joined at the heart.
More than just a rug; it’s a piece of art that has survived centuries.
