Antique Yomut Turkmen bag face, possibly from a spindle bag, used for the storage of spinning bobbins. Size: 2ft 2in x 1ft 5in (67 x 42cm). Circa 1900. a good small bag face with the Turkmen tree design to the central field with a rams horn border. The colours are mainly warm shades of madder red. The bag face is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. Stock Number: d-0536.
