This small Ersari Turkmen bag known as a 'kap' or small bag, was used for keeping personal belongings in, it was usually hung up inside the yurt. This example is of a classic Beshir design, with clear reds and typical Beshir yellow. The bag has been opened at the sides for display. The bag is in good condition with some signs of use.
