Antique tribal Khamseh Rug with triple linked medallions with pomegranate design. Size: 4ft 10in x 3ft 5in (147 x 105cm). Circa 11900. An excellent small tribal rug with a central ivory triple medallion containing pomegranate flowers; the warm madder red field is covered with small animals, birds and flowers. The rug is framed with an excellent border in soft green with small pomegranate flowers. Overall an outstanding small tribal rug. Excellent condition with even wear and medium pile, the rug is suitable for light domestic use or would make a great wall hanging. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
