An exceptionally rare antique needlepoint-embroidered textile made by the famous Lakai tribe of Uzbekistan, circa the late 19th Century, named Aina Khalita (wedding mirror bag). It has mesmerizing design elements often associated with good luck. It has a spectacular color range with superb greens, bright, vibrant yellow, and a saturated red color with wonderful turquoise on a black background. Textiles like this were made as bridal dowry offerings and would often be hung inside the tent as decoration. It's made using all silk materials, with a cotton multi-colored back.
