Antique Uzbek Lakai tribal ceremonial horse / saddle cover. Size: 4ft 11inx 4ft 10in (150 x 147m) excluding tassels. Circa 1920. This beautiful embroidered horse / saddle cover was made by the Lakai tribe of Uzbekistan, it was used on special occasions such as weddings. The soft red wool field is covered in silk floss tambour embroidery with classic Lakai designs. The cover is in outstanding condition with very little wear.
