Vintage Bhutanese Charkhab rain cloak textile - Bhutan
Beautiful vintage Bhutanese Rain Cloak (Charkab). Wool twill weave with wool embroidery. Soft wool. Woven to be water resistant. Three panels sewn together. Hard to date. Probably firsrt half of the 20th century, possibly earlier
Good condition. There are a few of small partial holes and holes. See photographs with sunlight behind them. Some wear. One corner has some loss. Remnants of green faric edging on back, top and bottom. See photographs, which were taken outdoors without a flash on a partly cloudy day. If you would like more photographs, please message me.
