Antique early east caucasian rug. Interesting marasali type radiating boteh in a non prayer rug format. The large variety of boteh i see as a sign of good age and the unusual border further argues for an early rug. Overall very very colorful. The down side is the poor older repair done to the piece including many small spots of repiling scattered over the rug, to many to count. Edges also are not original. ca. 1860 or earlier weaving. 3'6" x 4'8"
