Swat Embroidered Textile, yoke from a child's top. This is an excellently rendered child’s yoke from Swat region, executed in tiny cross-stitch embroidery. The front is 10.5 inches wide and 11 inches tall in the front. Most of the front and the wrap around ties at the bottom are expertly embroidered in tiny cross-stitches to wonderful effect. The colors include green, yellow, navy, light blue, yellow, purple, burgundy and orange. See the close-up photos to see the fineness and colors of the small stitches. There are strips of metallic thread embroidery work in the center and across the top of the yoke. Beaded collar. Excellent condition. The back is a simple cotton print. Great designs and execution. www.banjaratextiles.com
