19th century Bulgarian kilim apron or pristilka from the Vratsa region, as worn with a traditional costume. Very fine flat weave, striped bands, part embroidered motifs with silver thread. 50 ancient Ottoman silver coins edging brocaded band of gold bound thread. Original plaited ties. Natural & synthetic dyes with minor spots & wear.
