Antique Mint Green Hand Embroidered Silk Suzani This is an antique suzani which was created in the early 20th century. The base is 100% hand woven fabric called shoi. The begiz style hand embroidery is very accurate and artistic. This is the first time we see this color of the fabric (with a subtle sheen that our photograph cannot show properly unfortunately) used for suzani and that's what makes the item even more coveted! The condition of the item is good although there are some signs of wear and tear which is age appropriate.
