An old “eye dazzler” Manastir kilim from the Kotel region of central Bulgaria from about the 1930s. Finely woven wool on fine cotton warp, natural and aniline dyes (incl. orange). Faded on one side with reverse equally good & with original bright "eye dazzler" colours (last 2 photos). In good condition for age with complete fringes, weave a little loose under tassels.
