rug no : 42 size : 462 x 256 TYPE : Antique 1890 ORIGIN : Iran DESIGN : Arab Khamseh CONTENT : Wool on wool BACKGROUND COLOUR : Multi BORDER COLOUR : Multi. this is the largest nomadic rug in my collection .it must have been weaved in a summer camp (yeylag)due to its size.it is in good condition.however, scattered parts were repiled in Iran by an expert weaver, using natural dyed wool taken from an old kilims,hence ,the colour will not fade in the future.this wild beauty can be enjoyed for decades to come.
