a male Tibetan Chuba (Male Robe), made from chinese damask brocade silk in deep purple color, all hand sewn. Brocade motifs comprise of dragons and phoenixes floating among the scroll of clouds, with spray of decorative metalic threads supplementary work in differnt auspicious symbols. Inside lined with blue plain cotton cloth. Circa early 20th century. Excellent, near mint condition. Provernance : Central Tibet. Measurement: 173 cm across left to right sleeve and 138 cm long.
