a female Tibetan Chuba (Female Robe), made from Chinese damask brocade silk in subtle gray color. Brocade motif is roundles of interlaced Ruyi, foliage with endless knot in the center.Inside lined with printed textile with striking birds and flowers motifs. Circa early 20th century. Great condition with minor spots of dust stain and minor frayed spot at the very bottom seam. Provenance: Central Tibet. Measurement: 58 cm across armpits and 123 cm long.
