East Anatolian Yastik with spectacularly abstracted drawing. Woven with the thick glossy soft wool that this group is known for. Very colorful with abrash in the green (probably sulphonic?) and cochineal. Nice use of light blue in the bottom portion of the borders. (3 blues used.) Certainly 19th century but difficult to date. a little bigger than most Kurdish yastiks. Size is 35"x26"
