Anatolian kilim, Mut, 58 x 94 inches (148 x 239cm), i believe most Mut kilims are not very old( 19th-20th century). This example seems older and more interesting to me than most: it has a deep oxblood red dye found on other early kilims as well as lavender and turquoise/blue-green - none of which are typical in Mut kilims whose color range is usually restricted to red,white, blue, yellow, and brown. Approximately 10% of the field of the kilim has been restored ( many years ago, the restoration is not very good, but not visually obtrusive). It has been well and safely cleaned by conservation professionals of the highest expertise.
