Chair upholstered with fragments from a Salor main carpet. Some of the inner portions are contiguous. The chair is probably late 19th century. The fragments are certainly earlier and were antique when the chair was made. Several chairs such as this using different types of early Turkmen weavings are known from several European collections. This piece was published in Hali 106 in the 'Parting Shots' section.
