Back
a beautiful antique late 19th century (1880-1900?) Persian Kerman or Sirjan tribe Afshar rug. At least that is what i think, but as always i am open to suggestions. As found and would benefit from a wash. Good pile, wool on a cotton warp, small areas of low pile, stains to back, some of which brush out, a 2cm slit to top border. See last photos and detailed photos from link below. Natural dyes and good drawing of motifs. An attractive and authentic antique example with good colours, maybe a natural orange which looks natural in real life and not in the photos! 170x130cm. Shipping at cost by signed for registered post from Ireland.
