a jewel-like antique central Anatolian çiçim from Konya with an interesting border like a Cappadocian chimney prayer kilim. Fine embroidered soft wool on a flat weave foundation. Wonderful use of colour with a beautiful azure blue, which i have only seen in a few other Konya çiçims. 160x142cm.
