Early Anatolian prayer kelim, 17th. century,replete with lazy lines, the number of borders remaining at the bottom of the piece indicate that the rest of the rug originally had three borders on all sides and top; it appears to me that the piece never had an additional very wide border: that would cause the border aesthetics to be redundant, 65" x 39"(165 x 99cms)
