Looking for something cheap but special? This is an absolutely unusual set of four small Tibetan carpets i found in Ladakh, Indian Himalaya (former western Tibet). Size is uncommon, circa 40 x 40 cm each, and the use unknown: maybe something woven on special request for some special purpose. As far as i can understand, they probably are first quarter 20th Century. Design is simple, but the set is untouched (still retaining proper red felt border and back lining) and absolutely unique in the distinctive and uncommon size of the small rugs: you can have all of them for as little as 500 euro (plus shipping charges).
