Serab/Bakshaish long rug- North-West Persian, camel ground with field having allover flowerhead lattice enclosed by flowerhead (carnation) and diagonal main border with reciprocal 'y' guards. Colours: camel, red, green, indigo, blue, pink, yellow, ivory and brown; single wool wefts, cotton warps, nice condition, early 20th.century (possibly c1900), sourced from a recent Scottish Country House Auction Sale Rug has a very slight curve to its shape (see images 2 and 3, taken from opposite ends) but i think a clever person could sort it! £550 gbp
