Karabagh runner - blue field with single column of hooked diamonds enclosed by ivory main border, early 20th.century; contains a synthetic pink-red (not the inner border colour but detailing in hooked diamonds etc), shape is slightly curved at one end (see 2nd and 3rd images), repaired/replaced sides throughout, small patch in inner border (see 7th image, of back of runner), 370 x 115cm. Acquired from Northumbrian (North-East England) local private source where it was rolled-up with a heavily dog stained small Hamadan rug so; this runner likewise smells of dog but not sure whether its allover or in a localised area!
