Really great & exceptionally rare, small format, camel ground Baluch prayer rug in very good/ excellent condition. There is some very minor re piling in the field & minor pucker wear due to it's fineness. The black/browns have oxidized& there is a little ding in the lower left selvage area of the lower kelim end finish. THIS piece is as old as most & better than the MAJORITY Baluch Prayer Rug, 2-6" x 4-2"/ Circa 1880. Very difficult to find antique good condition, camel ground Baluch prayer rugs with compelling graphics, great color, not missing kelims or edges but then to do it in this rare, slightly smaller format....fun! Perfect for the back of a door.
