a sanjabi kurd chuval. The main field design as well as the border design is bigger, bolder, and more distinct then most i have seen. i believe it is from the 3rd quarter of the 19th century. It's super wide ivory border is quite unique and makes a great frame for such a bold field. It has a thick meaty pile mostly all over with a soft spongy high quality wool nap. It measures 23.6 inches by 17.6 inches. It would look even better with a proper cleaning but this is just the way i found it.
