Found in Anatolia but i believe to be a Kurdish or Iraqi? a large blanket with unusual and interesting dancing woman motifs. Woven on a narrow hand loom in five long sections, embroidered in a çiçim technique and then joined together in a similar way to some Turkmen and Uzbek weavings. In very good condition with one skillfully made repaired section to the lower right. 191cm x 150cm.
