An all wool construction Bakhtiari tribal rug in pristine condition with shinny thick wool, saturated deep colors, including the famous Bakhtiari electric blue, and a earthy warm straw yellow. corrosive brown has been used in some of the outlines of the patterns, embossing the pile. the size is about 5'6" x 3'6". The true colors are more like the close-up shots. the photo of the whole rug is taken with flash. the deep navy ground looks grayish due to the fact that the shinny wool has reflected the light. The weave is fine and uniform.
