a Late 19th Century Shahsavan Silk Jajim Size 109 x 197 cm A beautifully drawn Jajim with clear colours. Its principle design elements are a 'birds-wing' motif and a sub-Turkman like 'aina-kotchak' motif. The Jajim is in six strips but has probably been reduced at one side, as one side is unstabilised. There are three longitudinal tears (one illustrated) and a couple of small holes.
