Baluch Kelim, maybe part of a rug or the back of a khorjin set, around 1900; 87 x 166 cm (2`10” x 5`5”); made in very elaborate techniques and in typical Baluch base colours brown, aubergine, red, shining blue and white, used to set some eye catcher; 9 Kelim stripes made as “interlock tapestry weave” are limited from 8 white and 1 red stripes in “weft-substitution” technique each outlined with a “two-colour wrapped & bound” line; good condition
