Here is an elegant old Shakhrysabs belt from the 19th. century. Measuring 30" long and 3 3/4" wide the belt is in very good condition with a bit of wear to the red flower at one end. This could have been from something (like a knife case) being hung from the belt. Vibrant colors embroidered on a woven back with the back of the belt lined with old cotton trade cloth. a true old and elegant Uzbek treasure.
